For the low-priced and flexible Arduino board (www.arduino.cc) a BORIS driver can be downloaded free of charge. The driver supports the communication via USB as well as via Ethernet (UDP) if the corresponding add-on component (Arduino Ethernet Shield) is available. The driver runs in all WinFACT versions (WinFACT 6 or higher). The driver package contains the BORIS driver, the DELPHI 6-source codes and the necessary firmware for the Arduino board. So it is easy for users to make own adjustments of the driver (e. g. for future Arduino boards).
A driver is available which allows the communication between BORIS and the modular I/O fieldbus system of the WAGO Kontakttechnik company. Data exchange is realized via ETHERNET TCP/IP. No other software is required. WAGO also offers a low-priced Starter-KIT.
Two more drivers for BORIS for two low-cost modules are available:
BORIS drivers are now available for the low-priced USB-modules EXDUL/XMOD-122 and EXDUL/XMOD-142 of the company Messcomp which support all functions of the modules.
