BORIS driver for National Instruments myDAQ
National Instruments' NI myDAQ is a powerful but, nevertheless, low-priced USB box which is very popular especially in the training sector and with students. It comes along with a lot of accessories and user software. A BORIS driver is now available for this NI myDAQ device which supports all analog and digital in- and outputs. The driver runs with WinFACT 6 or higher. Students can get the driver for free (confirmation of school registration is required).

BORIS driver for FESTO EasyPort
A BORIS driver for the EasyPort interface of the Festo Didactic company is now available which supports all digital and analog in- and outputs of the interface as well as all measuring ranges. The EasyPort can alternatively be connected to the COM- or USB-port. The port number will automatically be detected by the BORIS driver. The high transfer rate allows relatively small sampling intervals. Therefore the interface in cooperation with BORIS is suited for control purpose applications as well as for hardware-in-the-loop-controls.

Free BORIS driver for H-Tronic HB627/HB628 data acquisition system
A driver for the 8-channel/12-bit-data acquisition system H-Tronic HB627 can be downloaded free of charge. This data acquisition system is connected to the USB-interface of a PC. After the installation of the included drivers the device can be reached as a virtual serial port. The system can capture up to 8 analog signals in a voltage range from 0 to 4095 mV. Free BORIS driver for Arduino board
For the low-priced and flexible Arduino board (www.arduino.cc) a BORIS driver can be downloaded free of charge. The driver supports the communication via USB as well as via Ethernet (UDP) if the corresponding add-on component (Arduino Ethernet Shield) is available. The driver runs in all WinFACT versions (WinFACT 6 or higher). The driver package contains the BORIS driver, the DELPHI 6-source codes and the necessary firmware for the Arduino board. So it is easy for users to make own adjustments of the driver (e. g. for future Arduino boards).

BORIS and the WAGO I/O system 750

New BORIS drivers: LabJack U3 & AVR-NET-IO
Two more drivers for BORIS for two low-cost modules are available:
- The LabJack U3 (www.labjack.com) is the "little" brother of the popular LabJack U12 and has 4 analog inputs, one analog output as well as up to 20 digital I/Os and two counters. It is connected to the USB port.
- The AVR-Net-IO-Modul is an extremely low-cost module (EUR 19,95 as kit, www.pollin.de), which can alternatively be operated at the Ethernet interface or the COM port. It has 4 analog inputs, 4 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs.
The BORIS driver for the AVR-Net-IO-module can be downloaded free of charge from the download area.

The first formula-1-simulator was developed in the mechatronics
high-tech-lab of Prof. Ossendoth at the university of applied science in Bocholt. In contrast to normal
computer simulations the driver's cockpit of this simulator is located on a
PC-controlled motion platform, which passes on all motion forces that act on a
formula-1-driver, to the test driver in the simulator. The whole control has been
realized with a Pentium PC, a standard A/D-D/A card and WinFACT 98.
