The automatic control software course “Closed loop systems with switching controllers” deals with the following subjects:
- The division of controllers into classes: continuous controllers, switching controllers, switching controllers with feedback
- The control system behaviour if switching controllers with and without hysteresis are used at linear plants of various order with and without dead time
- The improvement on the control system dynamics by adding an inner feedback in the switching controller
- The expansion of simple two point controllers by introduction of a switching line in the e-de/dt-plane to a sliding-mode-controller for the robust control of plants of 2nd order
