The automatic control software course “Controller design in frequency range” deals with the following subjects:
- The characterization of linear dynamic systems by their frequency response
- The graphic presentation of the frequency response in form of a Bode plot and Nyquist plot
- The frequency responses of automatic control basic elements
- The correlation between the characteristic values of the frequency response of the open loop system and the time response of the closed loop system
- The analysis of the stability based on the frequency response of the open loop system
- Design of PID-controllers based on the Bode plot of the plant and controller
